The recall was prompted by reports of glass in the fruit bars, which are a popular frozen dessert marketed as containing “real fruits or fruit juice.” No illnesses or injuries have been reported.
Dreyer’s said in a news release that only five flavors — six-count packs of 2.5-ounce strawberry, watermelon, grape, tangerine and black cherry bars — and the 24-count variety pack are affected. The products have best-before dates of May 31 through November 30, 2027. A complete list of the UPC numbers and bar codes of the recalled products can be found in the release.

Outshine Fruit Bars included in the recall should be thrown out or returned for full refunds at their original place of purchase.
“The safety, quality, and integrity of our products remain our highest priority,” Dreyer’s said in the release. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action may cause our consumers and retail customers.”
