Bernie Moreno on Sunday said his former son-in-law, Republican Rep. Max Miller, \u201cshould not serve\u201d in Congress because of abuse allegations levied by Moreno\u2019s daughter against Miller.\n    <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationtimess.com\/?p=8244\">RFK Jr. targets Fauci and pushes medical misinformation in fiery CNN interview<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cAs he has admitted privately, Max Miller needs serious psychological help,\u201d Moreno said on X. \u201cHe is a danger to my daughter, and I hold my breath every minute he has custody of my granddaughter.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cHe should not serve in the House of Representatives,\u201d Moreno said.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            Moreno\u2019s statement came shortly after Miller appeared on a livestream in which he denied allegations of abuse and said he\u2019s staying in his race. \u201cI\u2019m not getting out of this race, and I\u2019m winning in November,\u201d Miller said.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            The statement from Moreno marked his first extensive public comment on the abuse allegations that have embroiled Miller for months and that could threaten the congressman\u2019s chances to be reelected to represent Ohio\u2019s 7th District. President Donald Trump won the district by 11 points in 2024, and it has long been considered a solidly safe Republican seat.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            Responding to his former father-in-law\u2019s statement, Miller said on X: \u201cYou know this isn\u2019t true and the only reason you are speaking out now is to hide from your own media circus.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            Miller was married to Moreno\u2019s daughter, Emily Moreno, from 2022 to 2025, and they share a daughter. Their divorce led to a highly contentious and public custody battle.\n    <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationtimess.com\/?p=8238\">An airport search, a wiped phone and a potential test of Fourth Amendment protections<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n            In a statement responding to Miller\u2019s livestream, during which Miller said no court or government agency had substantiated the allegations, a spokesperson for Emily Moreno said there is a \u201cdocumented trove of evidence that Miller has a history of violent and dangerous behavior and no amount of victim shaming will change that.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cIt is despicable and abhorrent that Miller lied on an unhinged and humiliating video for their daughter to watch one day,\u201d Stefan Mychajliw said. \u201cNo loving parent would have ever used their daughter as a PR pawn to save their own political career.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            Republican control of the House could be imperiled if Miller loses the race against his Democratic opponent, Brian Poindexter.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n            If Miller were to drop out of the race, the deadline for the Ohio GOP to replace him on this fall\u2019s .\n    <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationtimess.com\/?p=8234\">I\u2019ve been journaling for more than 20 years.
